Play the Violin

Individual and Group Lessons
All ages welcome (I teach beginners from 7-73).

Learning to play in a group is great fun as well as providing an incentive to practice.

You can take your playing to whatever level you wish, there are many opportunities for playing the violin at a basic level. We start by learning how to tune the violin, the basics of written music and simple technique. Later, when timing skills have been achieved we play partmusic. I use folk tunes, mostly accompanied by CD's as well as tutor books and some classical pieces. Exams are entirely optional.
